Stair fitting
With the structure finished, we fit your new staircase so the loft is safe and easy to reach from the floor below.
Stage 03 of 06
Last-minute design
Once the stairs are in, you come up and see the space for yourself. Planning rooms and windows while standing in the loft is far easier than working from a drawing.
Stage 04 of 06
Plumbing & electrics
First-fix electrics and plumbing go in, and you can talk through ideas for your bathroom and main room with our electricians and plumbers.
Stage 05 of 06
Insulation & boarding
We insulate, plasterboard and build internal walls while our roofers and bricklayers work outside, keeping the time on site to a minimum.
Stage 06 of 06
Completion & sign-off
Plasterers, second-fix joiners, electricians and plumbers complete every detail on site, leaving you with a transformed home you’ll love for years to come.

Ask us a questionDo I need planning permission for a loft conversion?
Often not. Many loft conversions in Nottingham and Derby can go ahead under permitted development rights. Homes in conservation areas, listed buildings and larger structural alterations may need approval, so it’s worth checking with your local planning authority or with us before work starts.
How long does a loft conversion take?
Most loft conversions take between 6 and 12 weeks, depending on the size, complexity and type of conversion. Larger projects such as mansard or hip to gable conversions can take longer because of the extra structural work. We give you a detailed timeline and keep you informed throughout.
Can you convert a loft with a low ceiling height?
Yes, it’s often possible. Depending on the space available and how you want to use the room, design solutions such as dormer windows or roof alterations can create a more comfortable, spacious room.
What can I use my loft conversion for?
Extra bedrooms, home offices, playrooms and master suites with an en-suite are all popular. We design the space around your needs while making sure it complies with building regulations.
What electrical and plumbing work is included?
Loft conversions often include first-fix electrics and plumbing for lighting, sockets, radiators and bathrooms or en-suites. Final fittings are completed during the later stages of the project.
How is a loft conversion insulated?
High-performance insulation is installed in the roof, walls and floor to improve energy efficiency and keep the room comfortable all year round. It also helps to reduce noise transfer.
